A large portion of my clinical experiences have involved providing age-appropriate services to adolescents and adults experiencing a range of neurotic and psychotic disorders using a variety of psychological and behavioral interventions. Other areas of my work include providing crisis management and treatment for severely mentally ill and judicially committed male adults. I specialize in conducting psychological assessments of patients’ cognitive, personality, behavioral-functional status as appropriate and providing individual and group therapy for military personnel and veterans and their families and for persons seeking help related to the lived-experience of AIDS/HIV, minority status, gay/lesbian/bisexual and/or transgender identities, masculinity or gender issues, and psychological trauma associated with PTSD, sexual abuse, the invisible wounds of war, and physical abuse. Individual and group therapy also provided for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or adjustment disorders and those who need assistance in anger management and impulse control. I also provide supervision and training to masters and doctoral level students and unlicensed counselors and psychologists using evidence-based practices for treating patients’ mental, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders and disabilities.
As an Empowerment Coach, my forte is derived from my life’s experiences as well as the challenges that I continue to share with my peers colleagues and clients. As your Personal Empowerment Coach, I am ready to help you achieve the growth, development, and ultimate life changes you currently may be missing.
